Kormac was founded to raise standards in commercial interiors by doing more than just showing up and finishing a job. After years in the industry, we saw how often clients were left juggling providers, chasing updates, or dealing with work that fell short. We knew it could be done better, and set out to prove it.
Today, Kormac supports SMEs across New Zealand with services including commercial fitouts, restaurant fitouts, office design, custom joinery, maintenance, hospitality, healthcare, and automation. Each service is delivered with the same Kormac approach, a mix of care, ownership, and attention to detail, backed by strong systems that keep clients informed and projects moving.

The Reason We Started.
After years in the industry, founder Matt Strong kept seeing the same problems. Deadlines missed. Details overlooked. Clients left chasing updates or managing work that should have been handled by their contractors. He knew there had to be a better way.
What began as a small business focused on commercial fitouts and custom joinery has now grown into Kormac, offering services in office design, restaurant fitouts, maintenance, healthcare, hospitality, remedials, and automation. What has never changed is our approach. We take responsibility, communicate clearly, and deliver properly. That commitment is why so much of our work comes through repeat business and referrals.
